Our Mission

Southmont Student Ministry is designed to equip students from 6th grade through 12th grade who, through prayer and Scripture, worship God in their families, in their church, and in their community.

“He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God”

Our Vision

  • In the 2023-2024 school year our vision is “Walk Humbly”. This is from what we see in Micah 6:8.  As our ministry goes on in the school year, I want SMSM to focus on what it means to follow God in everything we do. People every where always talk about how great they are. However, as Christians I want us to see that greatness is defined by God, and us humbly walking behind Him. I want us to understand that no matter how old or young we are we can grow closer to God every day.
